fix SEARCH on Destroid.com!
Search is terrible. If I want to find a review of a game, I shouldn't have to look through a list of results after typing in the game's name on the site's search engine.. check out Gamespot's site search. It kicks ass. I just wish Dtoid had it, too!

Hide comment replies by default
Rather than showing all comments and their replies all the time, I'd prefer to have the option to expand a comment to view the replies. Not only would it keep the comment section from looking disjointed, it would keep long back-and-forth arguments (which are bound to happen) hidden from view unless the viewer actually wanted to see them.

Make it so review scores only show up on rollover
I like the new review box, but I don't like that it shows the scores. I like to read the review before having an empirical number, because I feel that knowing the score flavors the text one way or the other.
14 votesGood point. Maybe we can make this a user-definable variable in the profile settings, as some people prefer the score out in the open.

A 'random blog' button which would redirect the user to a random blog.
I would like to see a 'random blog' function which would direct the user to a random Community Blog.

Delete cBlogs
Along with publishing and hiding cBlogs, I think it would be a good idea to have an option to delete a cBlog completely. For example, I have a few aborted cBlogs that I will never publish and they're just wasting space in my "Manage Blogs" listing.

Make a top 100 games of all time list
First let me say that your "Top 50 Videogames of the Decade" was amazing. It was by far the best videogame list I have read on the internet, and trust me, I've read a lot of them.
Having said that, I would love to read a feature about "The Best Videogames of All Time."
I'm looking to go back and play some old videogames and discover some recent gems that have gone overlooked. I, however, do not hav e videogame knowledge like the staff at destructoid, so I would love to hear your list so I can go back and…

Allow me to see all of my followers.
I just got over 50 followers, and I can only see the first 50. Need a way to view all, and by page.

PC Peripherals database of reviews/articles
This came in from a reader: Create a PC peripherals list of categories separate from our game reviews, and make those more easily searchable

Change the login page to redirect back to where you clicked login, instead of the front page.
Not much explanation needed here. Checking the referring page for the redirect address should be all it takes.

Genre column & Enable filtering by genre within a system's game lists
Right now if I go to one of the systems' Game Databases, there is no way to filter down to "PS3 games\Strategy genre", for example. It's either-or. I can either see all systems' news items (not even individual games, sometimes multiple games within one article) related to a genre OR all PS3 games. So to find games I have to go to Gamespot, but for quality writing I need to come back here? Please make your dB navigable.

Streamline the article presentation
Not seeing the reason behind having large 1000x450 "tablet-blocks" for the "Upcoming Games" and other article lists - it's bulky, bloated, sucks up bandwidth and it's a pain to navigate, as is a good portion of this site, unfortunately. The first rule of GUI club is function before form.

Avoid Flash and DISQUS like the plague!
If either of these bubonic pustules are lurking on your site, cut them out immediately. Adopt HTML5, fingerpainting, cuneiform or anything else besides these two. Remember, for web site navigation it first needs to work before it can be pretty.

add Google Plus share option to mobile Destructoid site
Presently if you want to share an amazing Destructoid article while using the mobile friendly site, you have options like Facebook and Twitter, but Google Plus is nowhere to be found. The plus 1 option is available on the full Destructoid site. It'd be nice to be able to share to my favorite social media from my tablet

Bring the Fap button back to the mobile site cblogs!
Let us fap cblogs from the mobile site! Giving community members feedback to their blogs is a great way to foster a growing community. There are tons of times where I might not have the time to respond to a blog and want to praise it with a fap, but I'm just not capable of doing it without loading the hefty desktop site and navigating there.

Eliminate the sidebar video commercial ads. I was able to not ad-block because at least dtoid never did shit like that. But now...
...seriously, either give me the rumored paywall for ad-free browsing (which I would GLADLY do for this place), or just let me block ads. Because if I'm going to have fucking infomercials loading in the sidebar, I'm going to find it really hard to feel bad blocking advertisements, because it's turning an ignorable problem into one I actively have to stop in order to enjoy my time on this site.

Have forums for Flixist and Tomopop on the Destructoid forum. Individual blog posts are great for discussions, but I want to go long form.
This would also encourage growth as a community and better brand recognition between the websites. I always forget about them existing, like how I didn't include Japanator in the headline. Totally slipped my mind, but having a forum to talk anime and anime topics makes sense to me, as does one for movies and toys. Am I wrong?
1 voteDid you know those sites have their respective full VB forums? ;D I agree we should link them all together somehow. Adding this to the to-do.

Tiered Membership swag, designed for prompting a sense of community IRL
Much like Kickstarter pledge rewards, I think each membership level should receive a specific kind of tangible swag, used for Dtoiders to identify themselves both to the world and to fellow Dtoiders. Making this kind of merchandise exclusive to the membership system, it bridges gaming enthusiasm from the digital to the physical. It could even start small, and scale to different destinations: stickers & patches, cellphone and gaming accessories (laptop and tablet covers, etc), shirts & hoodies and/or ties & (fashionable) scarves. It doesn't have to be a big thing: free ads and a pin or patch that someone might…

A Folder System For Cblog Posts
Organizing our own cblog posts can get messy. We can create separate editorials that have little to no relation to each other, reviews, as well as weekly or bi-weekly segments.
My idea is to add a system of folders that can be renamed, to which posts can be moved to and from. The folders should be able to be deleted, but only if all posts are taken from the folder (or possibly have the posts automatically be taken out of the folder upon the folder's deletion).
1 voteAs a stop-gap solution you’ll soon be able to view which pages you’ve upvoted and sort those by the tags associated with them. its like folders without the work :)

Add a Coming Soon section
I think it would be rad if there was a section that lists upcoming releases for games their expected release dates and platforms. Maybe make the games in the list link to existing previews/announcements/relevant dtoid articles on the game.
This data is readily available elsewhere, but I want my clicks to go to DToid.
