Login using openID (Gmail, Yahoo, AOL accounts etc.)
Login to Destructoid using Facebook connect is nice, but it would be awesome to be able to use any openID account (Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc.).

Implement a Game Release Calendar
I think this would be a neat little additional. Readers could pull up a calendar so they can see when all the latest titles are coming out. They could also click on the title's name to bring up news post about said game.

Make sidebar re-arrangeable similar to CheapAssGamer.com
It would be great if the sidebar was re-arrangeable on the front page in a similar fashion to CheapAssGamer.com. There is a lot of content wasting space on the side that I don't care for, and other content that I would like to bring to the top.

Add a way to add/view news tips on the web site
Would you like a web form to submit and discuss news tips before they become editorial?

THE SHOUT BOX!
Its an irc based chat that appears on the side of the page that all members can talk to each other fast in. Its not big, easy to use and read and don't need a twitter to access. Its like a comment for all to see and stays on the side page at all times, cblogs to forums to stories.

bugs
Just a few things I noticed.
A couple articles (Shantae review and "The Witcher 2 impresses enough to assassinate kings") have a slew of code just sitting around doing nothing.
More importantly, I can't seem to find any way to look at any newer comments on the articles. None of the buttons for the Shantae and the Sonic 4 iPhone review articles will let me cycle through the comments. I've tried on both Chrome and Firefox, but couldn't search any further.

More Community
I suggest that, at the end of each of the major contributors articles, you have links to three different community blogs (by us regular guys) which people can then read. I think this would help take more people to the blogs of the little guys where they can then get some readership.

Allow me to see all of my followers.
I just got over 50 followers, and I can only see the first 50. Need a way to view all, and by page.

A Second red banner under the category one saying what systems the post is for
IE: Xb360/ PS3 / Wii
Here are two examples of why I think it would be good to have this.
http://www.destructoid.com/e3-09-hav...4810.phtml#ext
http://www.destructoid.com/e3-09-tee...4754.phtml#ext
After reading those posts.. I have no idea what systems those are for (in b4 google).
If I remember correctly the system used to be in the category but now there are so many categories its confusing.. maybe there could be a second red banner under the category one to say what systems its for?

Do a feature on The Side Quest, They are doing the world's first video game hip hop opera
I suggest that you contact the guys with The Side Quest and do a feature with some of their stuff, cause they are doing some innovative stuff with Nerdcore music and bringing some good stuff to the table.
